# HappyFetch

> HappyFetch is a LinkedIn company data API: it turns a LinkedIn company URL, slug, numeric id or a website domain into structured company JSON, and adds web search that feeds straight into it. Results are cached, every credit traces to a request id, and failed calls are refunded automatically.

- Endpoints: POST https://api.happyfetch.net/v1/company (a LinkedIn company URL, slug, numeric id or URN); POST https://api.happyfetch.net/v1/domain (a website domain or any URL on it); POST https://api.happyfetch.net/v1/search (a web search query); POST https://api.happyfetch.net/v1/cache (free: how old our copy of a company is, and what a lookup would cost now). JSON in and out, authenticated with an API key (Authorization: Bearer).
- Prices: a lookup by LinkedIn company URL costs 2 credits fetched, 1 credit from our cache, 1 credit for a confirmed not-found (free from our cache), which is $1.00 to $0.50 per 1,000; a lookup by website domain costs 4 credits fetched, 2 credits from our cache, 4 credits for a confirmed not-found (free from our cache), which is $2.00 to $1.00 per 1,000; a web search costs 1 credit fetched or from our cache, which is $0.50 to $0.25 per 1,000. Credits come in prepaid packs from $10 for 20,000 credits to $500 for 2,000,000, USD excluding VAT. Current prices: GET https://api.happyfetch.net/v1/pricing.
- Caching: every answer is stored, and repeat lookups come from our cache. max_age sets the oldest answer you accept, with no upper limit; 0 forces a fresh fetch. Every result says whether it came from the cache and how old it is.
- Billing: completed calls are charged; calls that can't be completed are refunded automatically in the same request; invalid requests, auth errors and rate limits are never charged.
- Data: LinkedIn company pages, fetched when asked and cached for repeat lookups.
- Free trial: 200 credits after email verification, no card.
- Credits never expire. No subscription, no contract, no minimum term.
